RAOA Terms of Service

In short

• Adventures happen in the real world. You decide what you do, and you are responsible for doing it safely, legally and kindly.
• Skip or pass any card that doesn't feel right. Nobody has to do anything.
• Only film or photograph people who are happy to be filmed, and only share what you have the right to share.
• What you post to TikTok, Instagram or Snapchat is governed by their rules as well as these.

Who we are

RAOA is made and operated by David Phillips, an independent developer. In these terms "we" means him and "you" means anyone using the app.

Using RAOA

You need to be at least 13 years old to use RAOA, and some adventure cards are written for adults. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the app only with a parent's or guardian's permission.

By using the app you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Your adventures, your call

Adventure cards are suggestions for fun and personal growth, not instructions. Before you do one, use your own judgement:

• Don't do anything that could hurt you or anyone else, break the law, damage property or trespass.
• Respect other people. Never pressure anyone into an adventure, a bet or a dare, and stop the moment someone isn't comfortable.
• Adapt or skip any card that doesn't suit your health, abilities, surroundings or local rules.

You take part in any adventure at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for what happens when you do one.

Party mode

In a party, your nickname, picture, bets, votes, score and any proof you add (photos, videos or audio) are shown to the other players in that room. Party points, bets and passes are part of the game and have no money value. The party's creator can remove players.

Your content

You own the photos, videos, audio and text you add. You give us permission to store them and show them in the app, to you and to the players in your party, only so the app can work. You confirm you have the right to add them, including the permission of anyone who appears in them.

Don't add content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent or that invades someone's privacy. We may remove content or accounts that break these rules.

Sharing to other apps

RAOA lets you share your adventures to TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat. You choose what to share and post it yourself, and those services' own terms and privacy policies apply to anything you post there. RAOA is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok, Meta or Snap.

The app itself

RAOA is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and your progress safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or that data will never be lost. Features, cards, points and rules may change over time.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Ending things

You can stop using RAOA at any time and ask us to delete your data, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access for anyone who seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

Changes

If these terms change, this page will be updated and the effective date at the top will change. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, without taking away any protection you have under the laws of the country where you live.
